Frequently Asked Questions
Do you charge a dispatch or trip fee?▶
Yes, Hawkins Systems Co. applies a dispatch fee to all service calls. Travel beyond 30 miles from Lake Saint Louis may include a mileage fee.
How much is your dispatch fee?▶
- Within Service Area: $75 during hours of operation
- Within Service Area After Hours: $95 (4 PM–8 AM Mon–Fri, Weekends & Holidays)
- Out of Service Area: $3.50 per additional mile
- Parts, Supplies, Materials, Fluids Pick-Up: $2.00 per additional mile
What payment methods do you accept?▶
We accept all major credit/debit cards, approved ACH/Bank Transfers, and Cash (COD) if approved by HSCO management. Payment is required per the approved Service Request Estimate.
Service Deposit and Scheduling Policy▶
All services require a 50% deposit after the estimate is accepted and the HSCO Vehicle Service Agreement is signed. Once submitted, a dispatcher will provide your technician’s name and ETA.
Do you warranty your work?▶
Yes. All services by HSCO ASE Certified Technicians are backed by a workmanship warranty. Client-supplied parts, materials, or fluids are not covered. For best coverage, we recommend HSCO-supplied parts.
Can I provide my own parts for the repair?▶
Yes, but HSCO cannot warranty or be liable for client-supplied parts, supplies, fluids, or materials. For peace of mind and coverage, use HSCO-supplied parts.
Are client-supplied parts covered under HSCO warranty?▶
No. Client-supplied parts, supplies, fluids, or materials are not covered. HSCO cannot guarantee quality. Using HSCO-supplied parts ensures full warranty coverage.
Can I cancel or reschedule a booked appointment?▶
Yes. Notify HSCO at least 2 hours before your scheduled service via phone, text, or email. Review and sign the HSCO Vehicle Service Agreement. Reschedule same day or pick an alternative date at no extra cost. Less than 2 hours notice or refusal upon arrival may result in forfeiture of dispatch fee or deposit.
How do I properly cancel and reschedule?▶
- Notify HSCO at least 2 hours prior via phone, text, or email.
- Ensure your HSCO Vehicle Service Agreement is completed.
- Reschedule same day or choose a new date and time.
- No additional cost applies if eligible.
What areas do you serve?▶
We cover St. Peters, Lake St. Louis, St. Charles County, and Greater St. Louis Metro. Travel outside our area may include additional mileage and pick-up surcharges.
How will I know when my technician is on the way?▶
You’ll receive text updates with ETA and a confirmation upon arrival.
Consent ‒ Opt-In Authorization▶
By submitting forms or providing contact info, you consent to receive service-related updates via SMS, email, or phone. You may opt-out anytime by replying "STOP" or unsubscribing. HSCO will never sell your info or use it for unrelated marketing.
